Happy 2017!

First of all, I want to thank you reading in 2016!  It’s always fun to reflect on the past year and the culinary adventures in the kitchen.  When I blog my recipes, first and foremost, I think about ways to create healthy, simple and tasty food.  I know you all want food that is freshminimally processed and will get raves from your family and friends.

Here are 16 of my favorite recipes for 2016 {in no particular order}.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

As you’ll see, these are mainly plant-based dishes. When I incorporate seafood, I do my best to use wild, sustainable fish, as well organic and humanely sourced eggs and dairy products.  Plus, whole grains, cold pressed, extra-virgin olive oil, as well as herbs and spices.  Let’s face it, you can’t be perfect all the time — if these things are not on hand, use the best ingredients that are available to you.  To me, getting into the kitchen is the most important thing.  Happy cooking and eating!
